Lucy Locket win International Business Communications Award
TJS were so pleased with the Lucy Locket Retailer site that they suggested it ought to be entered into the annual East Midlands International Business Communications awards.
The Retailers' website enables Lucy Locket customers to login to a hidden area on the website to view new and forthcoming products, place orders, view order status and a whole manner of accounting reports online - all in the customer's native language!
Customers throughout Europe can log in quickly and efficiently to view real-time information passed from accounting and stock systems. It is the addition of this customer area that has helped the company to become more efficient in their communications, increase productivity and more importantly sales.
The award ceremony took place in Leicester at the Marriott Hotel on 30th November 2006 where the nominees were announced.
Having been short-listed in the Small Business category, Lucy Locket were over the moon to have beaten stiff competition and walked away on the evening with the International Communications Award.
