Background
As a long established retailer of doors under an old .biz domain and with an outdated website, TJS were approached by Boston company Doors & More to develop a new and powerful ecommerce solution. With an extensive product range of JELD-WEN doors the site required thorough planning in usability as well as creating a clean, professional site to market their products.
Requirements
The main requirement for their site was to create an easy method for visitors to find the product they were looking for whilst still showcasing the large range of products that Doors & More has to offer.
Technical
A product wizard was developed that allowed each individual product to be associated by Doors & More to an unrestricted amount of 'tags'. This allows customers to filter down to the exact product they are looking for by selecting the types of material, finish or price that interests them.
Due to the large amount of products available on the site, a data importer was integrated into the CMS to ease the process of adding, modifying and synchronising their product data with their offline business.
