Background

Contractor Collective was born out of the need for a clear and focused point of communication for IT contractors. The team at Contractor Collective have a wide range of experience and skills. These needed to be channelled into a single one-stop-shop for the IT contractor.

Requirements

The remit was to produce site that has a high quality portfolio of industry advice, IT Jobs, daily news articles and financial promotions. Our challenge was to avoid the some-times cluttered magazine-style of some portals and to deliver clear navigation paths to each channel of information, whilst retaining the consistent identity, look and feel of the site.

Solution

We engaged Piers van Til from PDGVT.co.uk to deliver a clean and corporate feel to the site. We also worked with other content providers to integrate job and news feeds. The site has a bespoke CMS that allows the Contract Collective team to manage content and XML data feeds.

The site also accepts credit card payments for membership and other services. The site also cleanly divides content between paid for and free areas.
