Lincolnshire Enterprise
Background
The Coastal Communities Alliance (CCA) is a virtual network of over 40 local authorities and coastal organisations who seek to promote best practice in coastal regeneration and to inform policy and funding by providing local evidence and local solutions for the distinctive socio-economic problems of coastal towns.
The CCA came into being in 2007 in response to the Government’s initial rejection of the recommendations of the Select Committee Inquiry into Coastal Towns. The objectives of the CCA are to add-value to the activities of coastal regeneration practitioners and to improve the effectiveness of public services in coastal areas.
Technical
As well as a fully Content Managed front end to the site, members of the CCA can access group documents / minutes etc via secure access. Google Mapping API functionality enables the client to add new Projects to the regional map to pinpoint its exact location.
