Fortis Hire provides luxury toilet trailers for events from 50 to 10000+ people including sporting events, festivals, weddings, parties and corporate events. Background
The Brief
Since its launch in 2016, Fortis Hire had relied on an off the shelf site from Weebly. This had served them well initially but they felt they were missing out on key business. TJS was recommended to them based on our previous work with service providers and we were commissioned to design, develop and build a functional site to help their online presence.
Our Solution
The bespoke built website offers solid landing pages for both Google organic listings as well as paid, and a search-by-occasion facility has been included. With landing pages for each occasion catered for, maximum visitor engagement is encouraged. The secure site is optimised for SEO and adapts fluidly to any mobile devices it may be viewed on, as well as tablets and desktops. The perfect balance of visual and textual content has been achieved to satisfy Google of the site’s authority, with content that is relevant but also concise enough to be read and understood on small device screens.
At launch, the site was put through Google’s ‘Lighthouse’ test which scores websites when viewed on the lowest common denominator (for example, an older model mobile device operating on a 3G phone signal). The test scores in different areas, including performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO. A single score of 90 or above, out of 100, represents the top 5% of top-performing sites. Our achievement of 4 scores above 90 speaks for itself!
