Louth based butcher Meridian Meats have been successfully trading from their new premises since February 2008. The demand for quality meat at the new shop was so great it was decided that the online shop had to go on hold. The business is now well established and achieving great success with Meridian Meats being awarded a Gold for their Lincolnshire Sausages from the Guild of Fine Food. To date the website has worked extremely well as a news repository for the business with a Content Management System providing the client with the flexibility to post content and rich media at their will. The e-commerce element of the site, which has now been activated, allows customers from all over mainland UK to buy award winning sausages direct from the Butcher. In addition to their home produced Longhorn beef and rare breed meats they now offer local beef, pork and lamb available online, all produced to the highest welfare standards on other selected Lincolnshire farms and all offering complete traceability.
