TJS Makes an Impact on the International Market
Local Lincolnshire Company See Another Award for Their International Website Design.
Website design and build specialists, TJS Online are celebrating the massive success of yet another website built for one of their international clients.
ExpatWoman.com, designed and managed by the Lincolnshire website company, has just received this year's prestigious UAE e.entertainment Award.
Based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), ExpatWoman.com is an online magazine written for women by women and has grown to have a huge Internet following. In September alone it had over 1.94 Million hits and some 39,000 unique readers.
"We are delighted with their success," said Simon Taylor, MD of TJS Online. "We work very hard with our clients to maximise their website potential and to get the best for them and their businesses." He continued, "Over the years we have seen many of our clients receive awards for their online presence and are thrilled when another one is recognised by the different business sectors."
It was just a few years ago in 2000, that Jane Drury, the founder of ExpatWoman.com contacted TJS. She envisaged an online service for the wives and families of expatriates all over the World. The website was to offer advice and useful information for those living the expatriate lifestyle, as well as giving people the chance to make new friends and get in contact with others in similar circumstances.
Jon Green, the ExpatWoman.com Account Manager at TJS said, "ExpatWoman has been a great development project for us. Due to the distance it was impossible to liase face to face everyday so, although visits to Dubai were made in the early days, the maintenance and updating of the site is now done by Jane over in Dubai using a very simple database and maintenance system developed by TJS."
ExpatWoman.com was presented with the e.entertainment award in the UAE and will go on to represent the United Arab Emirates in the forthcoming World Summit Awards.
