The Willowgate Cafe, a Visit Scotland 'Taste our Best' eatery

For several years, TJS has enjoyed close connections with a number of businesses on the Tay, the longest river in Scotland, and we are currently finalising a new site for the latest of these, The Willowgate Café.

Originally the Lymie Haugea Salmon Fishing Station, a traditional fishing bothy, the building had fallen into disrepair and had been vandalised. The owner has completely transformed the property into one of Visit Scotland’s ‘Taste our Best’ eateries.

The new website will showcase the café’s fabulous menus which are all created using only locally sourced products and ingredients, including traditional Stornoway haggis and black pudding.
