Supporting a longstanding client to stay ahead of their field

As part of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, the Greater Lincolnshire Nature Partnership (GLNP) collects data across Lincolnshire about wildlife sightings, which form its records centre database.

The LERC Search website was developed by TJS in 2018 to allow customers to search the database, making the GLNP the first nature partnership in the UK to digitise its data and offer it as an online service.

Currently, the GLNP’s customers can search for sightings within a 1-10km radius around a given point but they now want to allow customers to search bespoke shape areas which requires a lot more complex spacial calculations. TJS is thrilled to be working with them to drive an already industry leading client forward to be even more innovative.
